Got meself a Spondon TZ frame! It's marked SPE|YC|84, not sure what this means exactly but I think that SPE stands for Spondon Engineering?

Now all I need to do is find a shock, seat, tank etc etc.

Way-to-go Matthias,

Ooooooo, I can picture that frame/swingarm sandbasted and powder-coated a nice gloss black. You better get started on gathering up parts. :D Good luck.

Looks like a good start !

The bonus is that as it's a special frame, you can go to town on fitting many non-standard aftermarket parts, that the "original TZ" restorers would take off (and are probably better !!!).....

Good luck!

Hey Michel,

I thought you were an original Dutch guy!
"Bant" lays in what men calls "the Polder".
Every foreinger can tell you about the "polders" and you don't where Bant lays?? How is that possible??

Besides I think Mattias bought his Spondon frame from the Prins of the Netherlands. Look at the orange color! We must ask Willem Alexander about this. Maybe his grandfather owned this frame. Bernard loved speed!

I guess it was done by the same guy who painted your Yamaco
Coeno came over this week and had a look at it. Looks like this is a very original frame. Not quite sure how it is going to look but one thing is definitive: the rear brake. There are mounts there for a Lockheed master cylinder so that's going on the bike!
The only thing we're not sure about the is rear of the frame. It has mounts to accept the pointy airstream type seat, Spondon couldn't tell me if this was done by them.
