How to do it.

It's easy once you understand that you are simply typing the address of your photo into this forum !

How to do it.

Postby tzeggy14 on Thu Sep 16, 2004 11:05 pm

First, go to a free picture "photo album" website, register and store your photo there. You need to get your photo onto the internet somewhere.
Be sure to make sure the name of the shot has no blank spaces.
All these gaps should be filled with "_" or "-" or whatever.

A good free photo album website is http://www.muchos.co.uk .
A lot of guys use http://www.imageshack.us as well.
Or http://www.mobynuke.net
or http://www.photobucket.com

Next, open your picture there, (the one you just uploaded), right click it, and copy the Address of it, then paste or type it into your message in this dicussion forum between the .

(Click on the "Img" icon above message you are preparing to make the appear.)

It's as simple as that.
Note that depending on where you have your pictures hosted you may need to adjust the URL a little.
For example Muchos pictures will have a few extra numbers at the end of URLs which need to be taken off. The URL should end with ".jpg"

You are effectively writing the address of your shot into your message here.

An example.

Go to the Muchos site : http://www.muchos.co.uk .

Right click on their logo at the top of their homepage and go down to "Properties".

You will see that the address of their logo is:
http ://www.muchos.co.uk/images/nav_logo.jpg

It is exactly that that I have typed in between the [ img ] and [ /img ] here to produce this image:

Right click the red, black and white "tz350.com" logo above.

Go down to "Properties", left click it.

You will see that the address of the logo is: http://tz350.biketorque.net/forum/templ ... _phpBB.gif
That is exactly what I copied, after clicking "Img" above, and pasted between the and [ /Img] to make the image appear here:

Right click the "Post Reply" button, get it's Properties.

Type those properties here after clicking the "Img" box once, (click the "Img*" box after putting them in.)

Here is the result: The "Post Reply" button now appears here....
